  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  •   1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 to 8 pound turkey breast (boneless or bone-in)

Roasting a boneless turkey breast in the oven


1. Set the oven's temperature to 375°F (190°C). Place the turkey breast, skin side up, in an oiled 9x13-inch pan or on the rack of the roasting pan.

2. Make a paste in a small bowl by combining olive oil, paprika, oregano, rosemary, salt, thyme, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

3. Carefully take the skin off the meat and apply some of the spice paste underneath. The skin of the turkey breast can be covered with the remaining spice mixture.

4. Put the prepared turkey breast in the oven that has been preheated. Roast until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C), about 20 minutes per pound. The thickest region of the breast will be checked for temperature. Remember that the size of the turkey breast will affect how long it takes to cook. It takes less time to cook boneless turkey breasts. A meat thermometer will be used for accurate results.

5 Take the food out of the oven and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Allow to rest for 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. After that, cut a piece and serve.
